I have this dress in two colors, black (purchased in a local store) and now navy. I usually wear a medium, size 8, but wear a large in this brand. Could likely wear a medium because I do have to pin the surplice front closed, but I wanted it to be loose and flowy and cool in summer. Its not really see thru so I don’t usually wear a slip. These travel well, too. You can hang it in the bathroom overnight and the packing wrinkles (if any) with fall out. Pair with a statement necklace, sandals, for a nice dinner, or a jean jacket and flats and you’re good to go. I wash gentle cycle, gentle detergent, a bit of fabric softener, and hang dry (I use a skirt hanger with clips, and hang it from the elastic waist so it doesn’t stretch from the shoulders.). I Might get another color too if still available.I got this dress during a Lightning Deal and I am so glad I bought it! This dress is incredibly flattering without needing a bunch of patterns or complicated sewing. I was a bit concerned about the way the top would fit (I'm a 38G), but it turns out the neckline crosses higher on the chest and has an inch-1 1/2" area where the fabric crosses, so it's a little bit adjustable but won't leave your bits hanging out. Directly below is a smocked waistline that really helps keep the top evenly crossed and covers up a little tummy, making you look longer and leaner. The skirt landed right at my ankles (I'm 5'6") and looks adorable with sandals, or any type of shoe you like. The fabric is substantial and very light, and mine is not at all see-through (the red one). There is a lot to love with this dress, it's great for running errands or wearing around the house, and can be easily dressed up or down. Highly recommend this dress!Beautiful shade of Green, prettier than in the photo on the ad. I'm 5'6 the length came right to my ankles. I ordered XL, my regular size and it fit perfect. This is a nice medium weight cotton knit fabric, well made with finished seams, no loose threads. I'm a C/D and it fit me good in the bust. Sometimes cross over tops are kinda wonky with too much exposure but this fit nicely with good coverage. I like this dress so much I just ordered four more colors. It is my plan to cut them off and make them street length, about two inches below my knee and use the piece I cut off to make a pocket. Then I will have five very nice summer dresses. Might leave the Black one full length but the other colors will be street length.So I ordered this dress in what I thought was a lighter purple from the picture, it is a true denim color. It is nice and I like the fit. I am 5'4", wear a 40DD bra and weigh 190 lb and the dress fits well. There is still a few inches of fabric to reaching the floor. The chest is a good size for me, and it does not show too much cleavage. You can wear a bra under the dress and it does not show through as long as the colors are similar. The fabric is thin, but in Arizona this is just right for summer. I rely on reviews when purchasing clothes online, so I hope this helps others in their decision to purchase or not. After wearing and washing I will return to provide more information.Great inexpensive dress! This dress is labeled 95% polyester/5%spandex. IT IS NOT COTTON, as is written in the question/answer section. Even though it's synthetic it feels like a cotton blend as it is not a silky polyester. If you didn't read the label you would think its cotton, but it's not. It does drape nicely and is very lightweight. You can't see through it.I bought the slate blue color. I am a size 14, wear a 38D and and 5'6" tall. I bought the XL and actually found it a bit too large. I am keeping it because I can wear t and don't want to go through a return. I like it enough that I plan to get it in another color and will buy a large the next time. Cheers!I love the feel of this dress. The fabric is very smooth and silky. I also like the color. The only thing I wasn't happy with is that the arm holes are so big. I don't like tank tops where the hole is too big and my bra is showing. This dress also presents me with a similar challenge. The length was very good and I like the tie detailing at the top of the shoulder straps.The dress is more of a blue (heathered denim is a good description) than a periwinkle (as it looked on my monitor), which I was hoping for. It is very comfortable, a good length for me (shorter), but I will need to tack it shut a little at the chest, so I don't show my bra when I bend over or turn around. I haven't washed it yet, but if it stands up well, I will buy this in another color, too.I ordered a small of this dress and I am 5 2 about 125. The fit is a little large, but it is a beautiful flowy casual dress. The fabric quality is great and it is extremely comfortable. I am hoping it will shrink a little in a hot wash but even if it doesn't I am fine with it. It doesn't fit huge but just slightly large in the torso. The length is perfect.
